Vanity Fair Reveals the High Fashion of ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’

Possible spoilers for the upcoming film ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’…

It’s been 40 years since Star Wars opened in theaters and we visited a galaxy far far away where a young farm boy took up a saber of a light and is joined by a princess, a scoundrel and his trusty furry co-pilot, and two wayward droids. Since then that movie spawned sequels and prequels, become a movement, and something very near and dear to many of our hearts. Soon the next chapter of that legacy will be revealed with ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’.

Recently in the special Star Wars issue of Vanity Fair we get a first look at some new characters and costumes which includes a glittering casino city called Canto Bight. It’s described as “a Star Wars Monte Carlo–type environment, a little James Bond–ish, a little To Catch a Thief” by the director Rian Johnson (Brick and Looper). World renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz shows us the glamour of Star Wars universe with her photos. Words such as amazing and stunning are not enough to express the awe of what we see here.
