While we are still a long way off until ‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ hits theaters on December 15, 2017 that doesn’t mean we can’t all get on board the merch train and do a bit of good. Some sweet apparel for the movie has just been revealed in support of FORCE FOR CHANGE, a charitable cause from Lucasfilm and Disney.
Those of you who are lucky enough to be going to Star Wars Celebration in Orlando at booth 3463 from April 13th to the 16th can pick up some fantastic shirts featuring Rey, Finn, Poe, and BB-8. Afterwards they will be available at select Disney locations; Disney World’s Disney’s Hollywood Studios at the Tatooine Traders and Star Wars Launch Bay, Disney World’s Disney Springs at Star Wars Galactic Outpost and Once Upon A Toy, Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Park at Merchants of Venus, Disneyland Park at the Star Trader and Star Wars Launch Bay, and Downtown Disney District at D-Street and World of Disney during the summer. In addition to the shirts there will also be a very nifty pin as well to collect! Be sure to visit one of these locations because we hear that you can’t order them via Disney.com or the Shop Disney Parks app.
Twenty-five percent of the retail sale price from each of these products will be donated to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF in support of UNICEF Kid Power, a program that uses the world’s first WEARABLE-FOR-GOOD to give kids the power to get active and save lives by earning points that unlock food packets for malnourished children around the world.
