Hidden in a wretched back alley of Hollywood is a bar where Jedi, Sith, smugglers, bounty hunters, and all sorts of denizens from a galaxy far far away stop for a drink or two. We’re talking about the Scum and a Villainy Cantina, a Star Wars themed pop up experience for fans by fans.
We hope everyone had a good time during their holiday activities! Earlier this month we attended the December 2016 Harajuku Day meet up in LA’s Little Tokyo.
This has to be perhaps one of our favorite trade shows of the year. DesignerCon is full of independent artists and designers, it was an indie art lover’s dream. With a low entry fee for a weekend badge it allows attendees to spend their money on the vendors there.
Earlier this month a number of Barnes & Nobles held a special event for fans of the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling. We ended up at the The Americana at Brand in Glendale’s Barnes & Nobles store for the festive fan get together where we took a few photos of the attendees in their best wizard/witch attire.

The Disneyland Hotel Exhibit Hall once again hosted the Dapper Day Expo this past weekend. The expo itself was a welcomed oasis for folks who were hoping for a bit of cool Fall weather in SoCal but unfortunately didn’t really get it.
Last weekend we stopped by the seventh Los Angeles Harajuku Fashion Meet held at Weller Court in Little Tokyo. We spent the day scoping out and took some photos of some of the Harajuku street fashion assembled by the Harajuku Day group meet up.
A couple of weeks ago the dappiest of the dappers put on their Sunday best and made their way to Disneyland for Dapper Day Spring 2016 and so with camera in tow we made our way to the Disneyland Hotel Exhibit Hall for the Dapper Day Expo.
