As summer drew to a close we attended another LA Harajuku Day Fashion Meet. While it was still a bit warm a number of folks still made it out and looked fantastic in various different styles.
The doors to the Labyrinth of Jareth has opened and closed for another year. For those who are unfamiliar of this grand event, it’s an amazing two night costume ball held each year in Los Angeles.
If John Barrowman (Doctor Who and Arrow) wants to become Wonder Woman…he becomes Wonder Woman! At DragonCon this year the Playboy of Time & Space steps into the stars and stripes of the Amazon Princess for his panel, a special photo op, and at a karaoke afterparty.
While this was not our first San Diego Comic-Con it was the first time we hit up the Game of Bloggers event during the convention.
One of the highlight after hours parties at San Diego Comic-Con this year had to be BANGARANG by TCL at the Bassmnt in San Diego’s Gaslamp District.
We had a fantastic time at San Diego Comic-Con International this year and one of the reasons was because of the ‘Let’s Get Fashionably Nerdy!’ panel.
San Diego Comic-Con International 2017 is coming up next week and thousands of geeks and nerds of various fandoms will be descending upon this yearly event of epic proportions.
Hidden in a wretched back alley of Hollywood is a bar where Jedi, Sith, smugglers, bounty hunters, and all sorts of denizens from a galaxy far far away stop for a drink or two. We’re talking about the Scum and a Villainy Cantina, a Star Wars themed pop up experience for fans by fans.

This has to be perhaps one of our favorite trade shows of the year. DesignerCon is full of independent artists and designers, it was an indie art lover’s dream. With a low entry fee for a weekend badge it allows attendees to spend their money on the vendors there.
